WORKING WITH MARISSA LA BRECQUE
Don’t be boring.
Let’s live in a world free from clichés, dead language and dishonest marketing. Beautifully honest communications make better businesses and better businesses make better communities.
Marissa La Brecque is a communications strategist and content creator bent on imagining fresh ways to describe clients’ work clearly and authentically.
Max Ernst, L’évade, 1926
A writer since she first penned a (totally not melodramatic) poem about the rain in high school, Marissa loves using words to find the unexpected, the meaningful, and always, the real. Writing is about connection. Interviewing clients, creating the link from their creations to their hopes and sharing their work with the right audience- it is all about connection.
Working with clients to create high integrity content is a joy. “I love finding the right voice so a brand identity can speak with clarity and enthusiasm.” Marissa has worked with clients of all shape, size and intent. At the heart of it all, is finding the point of true connection.
Raised by a food-obsessed Italian family in Sonoma County, California, Marissa has written about food and sustainability for 15 years. She is the author of four books, a journalist and editor.
Throughout the years, Marissa has been co-founder of several successful business ventures, including a secret dining club, a national trade organization and a magazine. A life contains so many dazzling turns of interest and circumstance. To bring the constant of writing and the richness of experience to her clients is deeply satisfying.
