SÅANA Yoga was born from two partners that owned a franchise in another yoga brand and wanted to do things their own way. They recruited a few other studios and were well established in the yoga community, having already been open for 16 years. But they needed their re-opening to feel completely new and real to their clients. They were referred to me through BLØK Design, who had created a gorgeous visual identity and done values work with them. We started out with a naming process and built from there. After establishing voice guidelines, writing the site, creating a naming system for their classes and developing a social media strategy, we have continued working together for two years.
SÅANA has grown enormously and their brand is solid. Their team continues to develop but because of our attention to strategy and guidelines upfront, their identity is intact and has only built nuance and power over the last two years.
